An evening of seduction-by-harvest: a Rosh Hashanah dinner celebrating the Jewish New Year for fourteen built around abundance, intimacy, and the slow pleasure of a shared meal. The tablescape drew inspiration from the lush ceramic garlands of the Italian Della Robbia tradition. Grapes, figs, pears, plums, ,and pomegranates ran down the center of the table, bringing to life the chiaroscuro drama of Caravaggio painting. Guests arrived to a progression of seasonal appetizers before settling into a family-style feast where candlelight, layered textures, and an edible centerpiece of overflowing fruit welcomed the new year with quiet opulence.
